The academy is led by plumbing lecturer Arbnor, who has over 8 years of teaching experience. The introductory course is designed for beginners and for people who want to develop practical plumbing skills.

Your instructor

Arbnor, plumbing lecturer

Arbnor leads the academy and its introductory course. With over 8 years of teaching experience, he teaches in small groups of no more than 6–⁠8 students, so there is time for questions and guidance during practical work.

After the course, students are invited to join a WhatsApp group to stay in touch with fellow learners.

Documents the topics and learning activities completed, subject to the academy’s CPD arrangements.

Please note: these certificates are not a regulated plumbing qualification, a Level 2 Diploma or an NVQ, and the introductory course does not qualify you to carry out regulated or specialist work independently.

No. The course is designed for beginners and for people who want to build a foundation in practical plumbing skills.

Choose one of two formats: 10 evenings (Monday to Friday, 18:00–⁠21:00), or 5 Saturdays (09:00–⁠15:00) over 5 weeks. You only attend one format. Let us know which suits you when you register your interest; the final timetable is shared with interested students when dates are confirmed.

Tuition for the full course, guided practical training, use of the tools required for practical activities, all learning activities on the course, and the Certificate of Completion and CPD Certificate, subject to the course requirements.

No. It is an introductory course. Students who meet the course requirements receive a Certificate of Completion and a CPD Certificate. These are not a regulated qualification, a Level 2 Diploma or an NVQ, but the course leads you on to progressing onto a Level 2 Plumbing Diploma.
